- About:
Velvet Morning Gray started in early 2007 with members Kyle S, Justin S, and Stew F. As members Kyle L, Kyle K, and Chris B joined, the band released their first ep entitled: Us To Dust. Over a thousand copies of their mixed sound album were sold, leading with it's single, the acoustic track Art Of Medication and made them a pretty big success in the state. Vocalists Stewart and Kyle K. were out of the band soon after for various reasons. The band quickly rebounded by picking up Lorin S on lead vocals and Sean J on screams. They re-recorded tracks from Us to Dust and continued playing shows. In January 2008 the band released the first demo from the new EP. The song entitled Red Ribbon Syndrome got very mixed reviews but was overall a success with it's upbeat rhythm and anthem like vocals. However the band slowly dirfted apart due to location and college. They did a few shows here in there until May 2008 and then stopped. For a few months the band practiced on and off without much word of the new Ep being released. Then in August the band recorded a couple more demo tracks for the Ep but the tracks weren't released until January 2009 because of personal reasons. The band has yet to do a show since April but is planning a comeback show for sometime in March! More info later!
